Just kiss me slow, your heart is all I own...

Title is taken from the lyrics of Ed Sheeran's Perfect ↑ . When I heard this song, I feel so inspired to write a post about my ideal wedding and finally updated this space like I promised in the previous post.

1) Pre-wedding photoshoot.
I want 35mm film photography or Instax wide/square. When I told X my ideal kind of pre-wedding photoshoot, this is our conversation.
X: O.O Can't photoshop the photos leh.
Nana: That is the whole purpose.
Yes... Why should I show my guests the photoshopped version of us when they know and already see us in real life. Now everything is too flawless or perfect, I really like this kind of analogue photography and I miss the real touch.

2) Wedding Dress & Bouquet.
Let's talk about wedding dress first.
I saw this dress when I was watching Bride of the Water God and I am so in love with it. It looks so simple and pure... okay... too pure.. That's why I wish that the end of the dress will have a mixture of ombre blue like the picture on the right.

As for the bouquet, I want a bouquet filled with nuggets, drumsticks, satays, bacons or just any fruits.
... ...
Hahahaa... I hope la... But it is a little too hard as I would keep snacking on them and I am worried the food will stain the dress.

↑ This is my actual idea of bouquet using hydrangeas with baby breath because my nose is sensitive to roses and lilies.

3) Venue & Food Served.
I have said it at least a hundred times. I want to hold my wedding in a venue that they can either sit or stand anywhere in the venue and mingle around. Or simply just enjoy themselves.

Venue: McDonald's (My No.1 Choice)
Food: McDonald's Menu/Happy Menu
Why? To enjoy the nuggets and McWings that I love. :X Each guest can order anything or a maximum of 2 items off the McDonald's menu and indulge in it.
P.S: I have told many this idea of mine. Some told me they will bring other fastfood joint food to my wedding if I hold my wedding in McDonald's. 😝

Venue: The Chapel @ Imaginarium
Food: Buffet style
I saw it in an article and all I can say is the venue looks so pretty. Too pretty. So so pretty.

Venue: The Weave by Studio Three Sixteen
Food: Buffet style
I saw a photo of it looking like an office spaces and suddenly, I just feel like holding my wedding there. My guests will be sitting around like they are in office without the divider.

Venue: The Loft Primax
Food: Buffet style
I don't know do they allow wedding here. But, seriously they have arcade machine, Xbox, poker table and swimming pool all in the same places! It is like chalet with all the facilities~ The only downside is they only allow 150pax.

Venue: The Lorong 24A Shophouse Series
Food: Buffet style
I like the shophouse feel.

Venue: The Arts House
Food: Buffet style
It just feel like an usual place to hold wedding.

Venue: Alter Ego - Esplanade
Food: Haven't think of it yet
I... don't know why. It just don't look like a place for wedding.

Venue: OTC Cafe
Food: Cafe food?
Again, I don't know do they allow wedding here but it is located at National Library building. Super convenient!

Wedding is not just an union of two individuals, but the union of two families. Even though I have many ideas for my our ideal wedding, I am not sure whether my family or even X's family will be able to accept it.

And to X if you ever read this post: Don't worry... I am already yours when you asked me to be your girlfriend 8 years ago when we were ordering western food in Koufu. Like what I told you before, I don't believe in forever. But for you, I am willing to believe in till death do us part.

Photos.

Hello! It has been a long while since I update this space of mine.

Maybe because I am approaching the big 3, my friends around me are all getting married. I notice that all their pre-wedding photo are photoshopped to the extent that I don't recognise them. And some of their package are expensive... really expensive.

That day, I told X that I want my wedding photo to be taken with 35mm film or instax film. I mean I want everyone to see the real us, the 'us' you see at work or when we hangout.

Maybe in the future, I will just write a post about my ideal type of wedding.

Thankful.

Yesterday I reformatted my phone to run away from this ↓ message,
but the message is still there.. T.T Anyone know how to solve this problem? The customer service ask me to delete all the apps and just use normal functions like calling and message.  What for I buy a smartphone, if I can't use the apps I am using now?!

Anyway, back to the random story I want to tell you all...

The funniest thing is I forget to backup some stuff when I reformatted my phone, so I tried to retrieve them from my Samsung and Google account. And there are many photos that was taken last year but I have long forgotten about them. Suddenly memories begin to flow in especially when I see those photos I took when I had the major breakout which took many months to cure. I always said I wanted to post photos about the breakout and finally, here are the photos ↓.

All this photos are taken after I received treatment from both doctors and facial parlor. Look at the bottom left photo, I trying to take how POP-UP the pimples are. HAHAHA.

Now... my face is better. But the worries are still there. I don't know when I will have the sudden breakout again, so now I went to facial every once a month. When I was having acne problem, I went to see doctor every 2 weeks and facial parlor every other 2 weeks. Can you imagine the damage?! In case you are wondering who is my doctor and which facial parlor I went to, feel free to email me or dm me on instagram :)

Updates!

It has been a while since I updated.

I will definitely be blogging about my recent trip to the Land of Thousand Smiles,Bangkok. Hmm... We didn't really explore a lot of cafes or places like the other bloggers or Instagram post I saw online when researching. So I will blog more about the experience we had in the places that we visited.. However, my biggest regret is I didn't get to try Pablo Cheesetart even though we try to search the mall for it... for 1 whole hour.

Now that X have finished his exam. We will be exploring and eating out a little more than usual. So, do expect a few food post coming up soon!

See you around!

Finally I graduated, but now I feel like studying maybe another field or language.
Maybe I wouldn't be taking out the part time student just yet.

2017. Enjoy.

Remember the targets I set for myself last year? I am proud to announce that I fulfilled....
NONE!

Okay, let's have a recap of what are my target for myself...
Anyways, I have set four saving goal for myself this year, 2016!
1) Save at least $8000 by 31 December 2016
2) Only take taxi when needed maximum 2 times per month. Use other form of public transportation like buses and MRT every time.
3) Spend money on necessary items only. Wait.. Is facial and slimming necessary???
4) Save more money according to this 52-weeks challenge I found online.
1) Well, I did save $800 just minus one zero. Why missing of one zero? I was bitten by a stray dog in Malaysia and doctors recommend me to have rabies injection. It cost a bomb... wait, it is not those hand grenade kind of explosion, it is those atomic bomb kind. I can't claim from my insurance. Also last year, I paid a lot for my acne problem consulting both doctors and facial palour.
2) HAHAHAHA.. Each week 2 times.
3) Sorry, I have no clear definition what is necessary to me till today. I am a Libra, lover of beautiful things and most well-known for being indecisive. I change my idea a little too often.
4) I stopped after 1 month due to no determination.

2017,  I am going to not set any target for myself
and enjoy my life to the fullness.

"screw all new year resolution!"

I will still try to save up but no limits. Also, more holiday trips!

Today.

When my mum and I was accompanying my granny for her laser eye treatment at one of the specialist medical center for eye care. Her appointment was 2.30pm, we reached at 1.30pm to register. Patiently waiting for her turn until around 4.40pm, then the nurses inform us that she needs to be the last patient of the day!

So last patient means that by the time it was her turn, the nurses are all rushing to close. Most of them have changed out of their uniform and chit-chatting near the counter who am I lying to even before closing they already chit-chatting at the counter. Finally when it was my granny's turn, the doctor need some assistance because my granny have Parkinson's Disease. In short, it means that she can't stay stand during the laser treatment. One of the nurse at the counter actually say, "But I want to go home already leh, get someone in uniform la."

... ... Lucky, some nurses come to assistance and make sure the treatment continue smoothly.

Just one random thought regarding the nurse's comment. Does it means that if a policeman witness a crime happening, he can't catch the criminal when he is in civilian/home clothes? Don't worry, I have faith that there are so many other nurses out there will still help even if they are not in their uniform. Thank you for being the helping hand when we really needed one. :)

BOOM!

/photo taken by the event photographer at my workplace/

Why am I showing picture of my phone only?

... ... ...  Because I am using Samsung Note 7.

Yes. The exploding phone in GTA and real life.

Just want to blog a review post about my phone before Samsung collect it back and change to S7 Edge. But seriously, this is best Samsung phone I have used so far and of course, minus the part that it will explode.

Okay, let me share with you why I love it.

1) Long battery life. It might not last as long as Samsung S7 Edge. But still WOW, with only 10% battery left, I still managed to snap about 70+ photos when I was in Taiwan.

2) Customizable icon and theme in its setting! There is absolutely no need to download another app for it. Save some storage space.

3) Camera. One word, fantastic!
Photos are taken during my taiwan trip in September and USS Halloween Horror Night 2016 in October.

Even in low light, the image quality is good!

4) User friendly operating system. Unlike some android phone, you need to get used to it.

5) ... ... I don't know. I just love it and will miss it alot.

Okay. I will end this post with 12 random casing I bought for Note 7. But till date, I only used 1 only. Bidding farewell to this fantastic phone in less than a few hrs.

Warm-hearted ❤

Dark cloud and the sudden rain today might have dampen some's mood.

But not mine. Today I feel that the world is not so harsh afterall.

My mum always tell me that no one will help you unless they have something in return. But the event that happened today have proven her statement wrong at least for my case.

When I nearly fainted today, a group of aunties and uncles actually rush forward to help me by giving up their seat to me and constantly checking whether I am okay. Some of them missed their bus looking after me and two of them even offered to send me home. Super mega touched!

Today is not so gloomy afterall.

SAD.

Yes, this will be a random personal post about my feeling.

This year is horrible. Very horrible.

Let's start with something more physical or appearance-wise.

For those who have know me personally, I don't have much pimples, only blackhead problems. But for the past few months, I am having major breakout. Not only on my cheek, forehead or chin because it is all over my whole face. >.< Whole face is kissed by clogged pores, blackheads, whiteheads, pimples and blemishes! This is one of the reason I stopped writing review about facial products. I am worried that using any other facial product will cause more the pimples. Personally, thinking should I go see a doc. If you all have any recommendation, do email or dm me on Instagram.

And ladies and gentleman, I saw some home remedies that involved toothpaste. Please don't apply them on your face. Personal experience, major breakout and super ultra redness that last about 2 days.

Next, is my sudden weight gain. During my study period, I suddenly gained 6kg! I mean how is it possible that I gained 6 kg in just 2 months. In case you think that I am not doing anything to lose weight, I am dieting and exercising.  But I can't see to lose the weight. If my jeans are able to communicate with me, it will look like this.

Okay... this is just for laugh. If my jeans talk to me, I would have burn it. :x

Other than physical appearance, work is really hectic. But this is the first time, I feel that handling human relationship is the bigger problem. My work is mostly project based so there is always a start and an end. For human relationship, the bonding I formed with my former colleague let's call him, Mr. A was fantastic. Like I just forwarded Mr. A a email, he will know what I want even if I don't list it out in details. But sadly, he decided to resign and Mr. U new colleague joined us. Hmmm.. Let's just say Mr. U have serious understanding problem. When instruction was given to him, he took about an hr to process and screw up the work.

Okay. Enough of your complain, Nana!

Let's focus on the good things to be happy about,
  1. I have ended my part time student and will be obtaining my degree certification in  OCTOBER!
  2. Understanding a.k.a punching-bag-plus-masterchef boyfriend and crazy friends/bitches that stick around even though I complain like 90%?! of the time I am out with them.
  3. Annoying family that I love them even though we make an effort to fight every other day or week.
  4. Super lovely colleagues and customers.
  5. Salary comes in on time every month.

OMG.

YES!

I have finished all my exam and final year report.
Now I am back to blogging and exercising.

For the past 3 months, I gained nearly 6kg! Time to exercise more..
My pants are becoming too tight~ I can't fit into the clothes I bought when I was 50kg.

Will be uploading a post soon on the yoga place I am visiting currently.

2016, make me richer than I was in 2015!

This is not a food or review post. More of a reminder-to-self kind of post.

After the festive seasons like Christmas and New Year, not only my weight must have increase at least 3kg, I always felt that the hole in my pocket are getting bigger and bigger. So, one of my 2016 resolution is save more money!

Was searching online for some tips on how can I save money. I noticed that this website, http://www.wikihow.com/Save-Money compiled all the important tips on how to save money of course, they are called 'wikihow'! Here are some I found more relatable and have combined them to make more sense tips taken from the link are in bold.

1) Put away money next. Whenever we receive our salary or allowance, put a small sum or 10% aside before we start spending it. Also, save for an emergency fund/rainy days. It is also recommended to start saving as early as possible. Have a reasonable savings goals with a time-frame established. Last, but not least, pay off any debt.

2) Keep a budget and record your expenses. Avoid accumulating new debt

3) Don't get discouraged.

My personal experience with the 3 tips I compiled above,
1) I do put the money aside but whenever I am broke, I will always end up using my saving/ emergency funding.

2) Once again, I did keep a budget and record my expenses... The keyword is 'DID'. I only managed to keep record of everything for 2 weeks only and that budget, it burst when I decided to sign up for another facial package.

3)

Hello from the other side.

Sharing one of my favourite singer's new single.

Hello, how are you?
It's so typical of me to talk about myself
I'm sorry, I hope that you're well
Did you ever make it out of that town
Where nothing ever happened?

I wanna...

I think this post is pretty random and shortest post ever, I can't decide whether should I continue with my work or start on my school assignment both are due tomorrow. I am totally aware that precious time are slipping away, but I just want to vent express my feeling somehow or other.

Recently, I notice that as a full-time working adult and part-time student, I fail at time management terribly like now! Overtime, project from both work and school and assignments are really draining me out. There are so many things I really want to do, like travelling... But I don't have enough leave for me as I took most of them to prepare for my exam. ☹

In order to remind myself of these goals and wants, I decided to add a column on the right of this blog create a page just for it sorry... I have too many wants!. Do look out for that page!

HAPPY #SG50 BIRTHDAY!

#SG50

Happy Birthday to Singapore!

"This is home truly, where I know I must be
Where my dreams wait for me, where the river always flows
This is home surely, as my senses tell me
This is where I won't be alone, for this is where I know it's home

For this is where I know it's home"

#ThrowbackThursday

Suddenly I remember this conversation when I was looking at the old-dated resume of mine on MRT today. Really like #throwbackthursday feel!

Well, some background story. This happened in 2009 when I was in Poly yr 2. I was very determined to find a job to save/shop more.

On my resume, I used to write travelling as one of my hobby and the other one is reading. I decided to strike it off after an interview with a well-known bookstore in Singapore (hint: Starts with 'K' and rhythms with Yoshinoya).

So, there are 3 interviewers interviewing me. Firstly, they make me type a lot of things which I screwed up because I panicked. And then face-to-face interview, this is the conversation with one of them. I will call her 'B'.

B: So your interest is travelling, what country have you been to?
Me: Malaysia and Bangkok
B: Huh. Just this two countries and you assume you like travelling?"

I don't remember what I replied. But at that point of time, I was really really hurt. When I wrote travelling as my hobby, I thought travelling is all about the experience and feeling and not really about the places you have been to. After the interview, I remember crying at Takashimaya carpark to X my boyfriend saying that if I have enough money to travel around the world, why do I need to work part-time. Right, B? If I have enough money to travel around the world, why I need to go work part-time and get interviewed by you all, right?

But I should look on the bright side. Lucky, they didn't ask me in detailed what kind of books do I like to read, when I answered them "Fantasy and Mystery".

"I like to read Enid Blyton's especially his Famous Five, Detective Kindaichi, Detective Conan and Harry Potter."
I bet this will be their reaction.
