Just kiss me slow, your heart is all I own...

Title is taken from the lyrics of Ed Sheeran's Perfect ↑ . When I heard this song, I feel so inspired to write a post about my ideal wedding and finally updated this space like I promised in the previous post.

1) Pre-wedding photoshoot.
I want 35mm film photography or Instax wide/square. When I told X my ideal kind of pre-wedding photoshoot, this is our conversation.
X: O.O Can't photoshop the photos leh.
Nana: That is the whole purpose.
Yes... Why should I show my guests the photoshopped version of us when they know and already see us in real life. Now everything is too flawless or perfect, I really like this kind of analogue photography and I miss the real touch.

2) Wedding Dress & Bouquet.
Let's talk about wedding dress first.
I saw this dress when I was watching Bride of the Water God and I am so in love with it. It looks so simple and pure... okay... too pure.. That's why I wish that the end of the dress will have a mixture of ombre blue like the picture on the right.

As for the bouquet, I want a bouquet filled with nuggets, drumsticks, satays, bacons or just any fruits.
... ...
Hahahaa... I hope la... But it is a little too hard as I would keep snacking on them and I am worried the food will stain the dress.

↑ This is my actual idea of bouquet using hydrangeas with baby breath because my nose is sensitive to roses and lilies.

3) Venue & Food Served.
I have said it at least a hundred times. I want to hold my wedding in a venue that they can either sit or stand anywhere in the venue and mingle around. Or simply just enjoy themselves.

Venue: McDonald's (My No.1 Choice)
Food: McDonald's Menu/Happy Menu
Why? To enjoy the nuggets and McWings that I love. :X Each guest can order anything or a maximum of 2 items off the McDonald's menu and indulge in it.
P.S: I have told many this idea of mine. Some told me they will bring other fastfood joint food to my wedding if I hold my wedding in McDonald's. 😝

Venue: The Chapel @ Imaginarium
Food: Buffet style
I saw it in an article and all I can say is the venue looks so pretty. Too pretty. So so pretty.

Venue: The Weave by Studio Three Sixteen
Food: Buffet style
I saw a photo of it looking like an office spaces and suddenly, I just feel like holding my wedding there. My guests will be sitting around like they are in office without the divider.

Venue: The Loft Primax
Food: Buffet style
I don't know do they allow wedding here. But, seriously they have arcade machine, Xbox, poker table and swimming pool all in the same places! It is like chalet with all the facilities~ The only downside is they only allow 150pax.

Venue: The Lorong 24A Shophouse Series
Food: Buffet style
I like the shophouse feel.

Venue: The Arts House
Food: Buffet style
It just feel like an usual place to hold wedding.

Venue: Alter Ego - Esplanade
Food: Haven't think of it yet
I... don't know why. It just don't look like a place for wedding.

Venue: OTC Cafe
Food: Cafe food?
Again, I don't know do they allow wedding here but it is located at National Library building. Super convenient!

Wedding is not just an union of two individuals, but the union of two families. Even though I have many ideas for my our ideal wedding, I am not sure whether my family or even X's family will be able to accept it.

And to X if you ever read this post: Don't worry... I am already yours when you asked me to be your girlfriend 8 years ago when we were ordering western food in Koufu. Like what I told you before, I don't believe in forever. But for you, I am willing to believe in till death do us part.

Photos.

Hello! It has been a long while since I update this space of mine.

Maybe because I am approaching the big 3, my friends around me are all getting married. I notice that all their pre-wedding photo are photoshopped to the extent that I don't recognise them. And some of their package are expensive... really expensive.

That day, I told X that I want my wedding photo to be taken with 35mm film or instax film. I mean I want everyone to see the real us, the 'us' you see at work or when we hangout.

Maybe in the future, I will just write a post about my ideal type of wedding.

Thankful.

Yesterday I reformatted my phone to run away from this ↓ message,
but the message is still there.. T.T Anyone know how to solve this problem? The customer service ask me to delete all the apps and just use normal functions like calling and message.  What for I buy a smartphone, if I can't use the apps I am using now?!

Anyway, back to the random story I want to tell you all...

The funniest thing is I forget to backup some stuff when I reformatted my phone, so I tried to retrieve them from my Samsung and Google account. And there are many photos that was taken last year but I have long forgotten about them. Suddenly memories begin to flow in especially when I see those photos I took when I had the major breakout which took many months to cure. I always said I wanted to post photos about the breakout and finally, here are the photos ↓.

All this photos are taken after I received treatment from both doctors and facial parlor. Look at the bottom left photo, I trying to take how POP-UP the pimples are. HAHAHA.

Now... my face is better. But the worries are still there. I don't know when I will have the sudden breakout again, so now I went to facial every once a month. When I was having acne problem, I went to see doctor every 2 weeks and facial parlor every other 2 weeks. Can you imagine the damage?! In case you are wondering who is my doctor and which facial parlor I went to, feel free to email me or dm me on instagram :)

Good day, Mate!

Hello all, reporting live from Melbourne!
I don't should I start with the good experience I had in Australia or the bad one. Hmmm..

Maybe I will have a detailed post soon, but my overall experience is that being Asian is not as good as you think it is when you are visiting there. Don't get me wrong. I really love the foods and things there, just that there are some black sheeps that make the bad experience a little more... memorable...

Detailed post about places we visited soon... after I finish typing the 5 drafts in my blog :)

BANGKOK! - STAY

Sawadee ka! Sa-baai-dee-mai ka?

Visited Bangkok with my friend,P in April and to be honest, I want to visit there again within this year before they remove all the street foods store from the street. The last time I went to Bangkok was 2015 with X and that time I fall in love so madly with the street food. Every turn I made, I can buy a lot of foods and snack along the way. But this trip, I was really surprised. There are still some stores along the streets but not as much as two years ago. Most of the street food are like organized now. They are mostly in front of the mall like those food fair in Singapore.

Anyway, back to the trip. I won't be sharing our itinerary because we just go wherever we feel like and most of the night, we spent at the food fair in front of CentralWorld! My love for Moo Ping (grilled pork on skewers) will never changeeeee~

Where we stay?

..... no. we didn't stay in castle..

We stayed in 2 hotels because one is nearer to the shopping area and other is nearer to the BTS not the korean group, it is their metro/subway/MRT. Also, I have a confession to make......

...I forget to take room photo... :X

So I will just talk more of their hotel locations and our feedback of the hotels

1) Budacco Hotel

This hotel is the one nearer to shopping area. It is deep inside the alley ↓, but located just next to the Pratunam Market. It is only a stone's throw from Platinum Fashion Mall and the night market called Talad Neon and with the new bridge linking Platinum Fashion Mall and almost all the mall around Siam, it is really convenient. This hotel is highly recommended for shopaholics.

image cr.: google map

But if you intend to explore around using public transport, you need to walk about 20mins? to the nearest BTS that is provided you don't stop and see see look look. And for those using Grab, most of the driver don't know this hotel. You can wait at the hotel lobby and let the staff direct them to you or go to Baiyoko hotel and let them fetch you from there.

Now, let's talk about more about the room. Both of us feel this hotel room is very clean and quite big. I remember that we open both of our luggage, we still have spaces to walk around. Oh ya.. for this hotel, we booked the room with the breakfast option. Their breakfast variety is not wide but I still get my favourite sunny-side up eggs!

2) ibis Bangkok Siam

This is my 2nd time staying here! I really like the location of this hotel. Just next to the National Stadium BTS and walking distance to all the malls around Siam. They have a 7-11 just inside the hotel, in the hotel lobby! I can just wear my pjs down and buy snacks~ And for those who need money changer, there is no need to wait for those at Siam shopping centre to open their stores normally open at 11am, because there is one just next to the hotel in Lub D Bangkok Siam. It is also just opposite to MBK, the food and shopping paradise for many!

Please note that the BTS exit is straight in front of the hotel. But to go to the bridge linking to other Siam malls, you must walk to the staircase in front of Bangkok Art & Culture Centre.

The room and toilet are slightly smaller than the first hotel we went. We really recommended this for explorers who want a hotel near the BTS and really affordable!

Conclusion
I will definitely stay in either of this two hotels for my next trip to the land of thousand smiles! But if you want me to choose which one I will highly recommend, it really depends on you.
Do you want to be the explorer or the shopper?

Also, remember to bring your own toothbrush because it seems like most of the hotels are not providing it. :)

Last but not least, I hope you enjoy my post about where we stayed. If you have any other hotels or Airbnb that you highly recommended, do email or dm me!

Updates!

It has been a while since I updated.

I will definitely be blogging about my recent trip to the Land of Thousand Smiles,Bangkok. Hmm... We didn't really explore a lot of cafes or places like the other bloggers or Instagram post I saw online when researching. So I will blog more about the experience we had in the places that we visited.. However, my biggest regret is I didn't get to try Pablo Cheesetart even though we try to search the mall for it... for 1 whole hour.

Now that X have finished his exam. We will be exploring and eating out a little more than usual. So, do expect a few food post coming up soon!

See you around!

Random.

It has been so long since I blogged! Been quite busy with the freelance business that my friends and I started! 😱

Think I will just blog about something I saw today after my yoga class...
So I saw this guy running across the road in sportswear, running and sweating!
I thought he must have been exercising for quite a while until I saw what shoes he is wearing..
He is wearing slippers... Slippers!
Hmmmmm... then I notice where he is stopping..
He stopped in front of those dirty ice-cream store...

Lesson learnt: Don't make assumptions!

Yes! I can take out the part time student from my profile!
Finally I graduated, but now I feel like studying maybe another field or language.
Maybe I wouldn't be taking out the part time student just yet.

Review: MEET

OMG. The last food review I written was in 2015. I need to write more food reviews. Let's start with somewhere near my house.

MEET
180 Kitchener Road
#02-37/38 City Square Mall
Singapore 208539

A newly-opened dining place that just opened on 13 January 2017 Yes, that new! at City Square Mall. X and I were anticipating their opening for so so long. Mainly because X loves beef and I am just excited that there is a new food place opening at City Square Mall. According to their description, they are a french-japanese fusion kind of resturant. Yeah! food food food.

Their menu are placed on chopping board! Very interesting. Please note that on Saturdays & Sundays, they are serving all-day brunch menu! I LIKE LOVE IT.

Video taken on Boomerang and make into gif using gif maker
Teehee... Really addicted to Boomerang

First up, Pan Seared Prawn with Garlic & Jarmon Serrao. It is under the Warm Tapas portion. X love the Jamón Serran, he finished everything and left me with nothing. ... But it is okay, I ate most of the prawns. :p The prawns are super fresh and QQ texture quoted from X, however it is not very hot. It is warm on the outside and cold on the inside.

Next, Crisp Blacken Baby Squid in Squid Ink served with Garlic Mayonnaise and Lemon Wedges under Warm Tapas. A lot of legs... I mean tentacles... Not sure they are baby squid or not. I feel that the batter is a little too thick for me, but X loves it! He said it is crispy and just right for him.

Classis Poached Eggs on Crispy Potato Rosti with Spinach, Sauteed Mushrooms in Hollandaise Sauce under All Day Brunch. They have 3 of my favorite food in one dish, I will rate it 4.5/5!  Their eggs are perfect just look at the images below ↓! X was worried that the eggs will be hard boiled, but the eggs here are P-E-R-F-E-C-T. X feel that the dish is quite plain, would be better with sausage or smoked salmon. For me, I feel that the rosti can be more crispy and it is not plain, I like it... a lot.  But I don't like veggie so if can change to meat will be a plus point.

Super bouncy~

Super watery~

Lastly, Salmon Fricassee in a Bag with Yuzu, Dashi, Kombu, Clams & Scallops under All Day Brunch. One word, B-R-A-V-O. I love love love love love it. Especially the salmon, it is pretty big and best part is it is fresh, no fishy taste at all! b^.^d The clams is fresh, scallops also fresh and they have Dashi stock in the soup.  I am a fan of any food with Dashi in it. Just write Dashi and I will order you unless you are full of veggie. X said it would be better if they add seafood stock aiyo... he got a lot of comment la

"It's alive!"

We will definitely be back again. A lot of dishes on their menu looks so interesting like their Honey Spiced Roasted Chicken and Oven-baked Seafood in Puff Pastry. Yumm!

Side Note:
Please note that comment and feedback are X and my personal point of views. Even the two of us that are dating for the past 7 years have different point of views, do share your point of view with us :) If you have any food that you want us to try, you can email us too :)
And all photos in this post are taken using Samsung S7 Edge.

2017. Enjoy.

Remember the targets I set for myself last year? I am proud to announce that I fulfilled....
NONE!

Okay, let's have a recap of what are my target for myself...
Anyways, I have set four saving goal for myself this year, 2016!
1) Save at least $8000 by 31 December 2016
2) Only take taxi when needed maximum 2 times per month. Use other form of public transportation like buses and MRT every time.
3) Spend money on necessary items only. Wait.. Is facial and slimming necessary???
4) Save more money according to this 52-weeks challenge I found online.
1) Well, I did save $800 just minus one zero. Why missing of one zero? I was bitten by a stray dog in Malaysia and doctors recommend me to have rabies injection. It cost a bomb... wait, it is not those hand grenade kind of explosion, it is those atomic bomb kind. I can't claim from my insurance. Also last year, I paid a lot for my acne problem consulting both doctors and facial palour.
2) HAHAHAHA.. Each week 2 times.
3) Sorry, I have no clear definition what is necessary to me till today. I am a Libra, lover of beautiful things and most well-known for being indecisive. I change my idea a little too often.
4) I stopped after 1 month due to no determination.

2017,  I am going to not set any target for myself
and enjoy my life to the fullness.

"screw all new year resolution!"

I will still try to save up but no limits. Also, more holiday trips!

Qoo10.

Hello, it has been a while since I posted something not personal. So I am back!

Based on title above, I bet most of you will assume that this post is about the hauls I gotten from Qoo10. But... I am actually going to blog about how it is like being a seller on Qoo10! plot twist. Please note that this post will be a super picture-heavy post.

A Little Background Story
I have been buying stuffs from Qoo10 before it is called Qoo10 it was called G-market last time. During 2014, I decided to sell stuffs on Qoo10. When I just start using, it was really a pain in the ass to create a listing and it wasn't user-friendly. Asking the customer service is like talking to the wall. After some trial and error I did over the years, here are some steps or guide to help you start creating your own seller account there without the hassle I been through.

Step 1: REGISTER ACCOUNT
You have to register your account here.
https://qsm.qoo10.sg/GMKT.INC.GSM.Web/Login.aspx
This will be the page welcoming you. The login and password are the same as the one you used in Qoo10. There are 2 type of account available, one is company and one is personal. I am using the personal one.

For personal one, you just need to scan the front & back of your NRIC and the first page of your bankbook which contain your name and account no. or recent bank statement. Qoo10 will then verified and approved your account. Setting up the account is free, but they have some service charge that they will deduct from your total sales which I will discuss it further later.

Step 2: SETUP LISTING
Just follow and click on the black arrows.

And you will be directed to this page ↓ where you key in all the important information like the price and product descriptions.

Let's break down into several portion to explain in details.
Category is really tricky. They breakdown into many many detailed parts. Just select those that you feel are suitable.
Market & Delivery Type really depends on the items or services you are selling.
Item Condition is either New or Used.
Item Title & Short Title is the name of the items or services you are selling.
Seller Code if any.
Item Image/Type upload the images of your product.
Production Place have three option "Domestic", "Overseas" and "Others".
Adult Item? Yes/No?

Sell Price this will determine your option price (-50% to 100% of Sell Price). My advise to you all is determine your option price carefully. And do remember that Qoo10 will also deduct the service charge from your total sales.
Quantity you know. what to key in
Available Period Maximum is 1 year. You can extend your listing thru the app under Price & Qty or web Listing & Pricing > Pricing & Qty.
The rest I honestly don't know. =X

The most important part in this portion is Shipping Rate.
Shipping Rate There is a few different shipping available in the market. Courier, Singpost, Qxpress, and many more. Among all the delivery services, Singpost normal postage is the cheapest but risky as there is no tracking services available for this option.

Item Description You can customize it easily using the setting available, but do remember to save. As if you exit this page, all the setting will be GONE!

I have not tried most of the thing in this option except for Search Tag Management. It is like the labels in blogpost, just key in the keywords so that buyer can search for them easier.

Then, click on List Item and wait for Qoo10 to approve your listing.

Oh ya.. If you want your item to be advertise, you have to pay money for that. If not, just pray that buyer have awesome searching skill and Qoo10 have fantastic search function.

Step 3: WAIT FOR ORDERS

Yeah! Orders is in!

How you know you have orders? You will receive an email or notification if you downloaded their QSM and Qtalk app. If you click on the GO ↑ on the webpage, you will be directed to this page ↓.

Again, here are some breakdown explanation for portion I feel important.

Just click on On Request(brief view) is detailed enough for you to pack your orders.
Awaiting Payment you don't have to do anything yet.
New Orders is the order you have to packed and mailed out.

If you update estimated shipping date in the portion ↑, your New Orders will be moved to Order Confirmed

If you have mailed out the orders, just update shipping status. Personally, updating registered postage is really really annoying. I don't know why even after I key in the tracking no. one by one, they still failed to update all together.

opps...

Step 4: KA-CHING $$$
To see your total sales, you can follow and click the the arrows as shown in below.

And you will see this ↓.

Normally I will choose Shipping date option to see how much is my total sales.

How did Qoo10 determine their service fee? It all depends on your service grade. There are three grading, "Standard", "Good" and "Power". Have attached the service fee rate ↓ as of  02/01/2017.

Note to all seller: Do take note of how much you need to markup your item so that you don't lugi lose out

All the money earned will be converted into Q-cash. You can either withdraw (need to wait 3-5 working days to be deposited into your account) or just use them when you are shopping on Qoo10.

ANY OTHER MATTERS?
I will continue this portion next time.
Finally I have an inquiry, so that I can explain to you all how to answer them.

Answering Inquiries
You will receive this pop-up when you log into QSM.

You can't answer the inquiries online, you have to download the Qpost for desktop or mobile.

Okay. Before you ask me, I also don't understand why there is for their mobile app to separate the QSM & Qpost. I sincerely hope in the near future, they will combine this two app together.

So what is the advantage of using Qoo10 even though they charge a certain amount of service fee whereas there are other selling app that are free.
Personally, I feel that the buyers are more financially stable?. You don't have to worry about customers MIA missing-in-action or back-out last minute as they are required to make payment first. But you do have to worry about a small amount of customers who give you negative feedback as they expect Singpost to deliver their item in less than 12hours. I don't own Singpost!
