As a hair
conscious VERY CONSCIOUS individual, I am glad to present you all my 100% honest opinion about some shops that I have tried. And of course, it is not a sponsored post.
Background story time
I have tried shaving, waxing, threading and IPL.
For shaving, all you need is a shaver. Super low cost but makes your hair thicker and darker. Not to forget the No.1 problem caused by shaving,
INGROWN HAIR! And my hair grows overnight, so this method is pretty useless to me.
Waxing and threading. Pain
super pain for some, but slightly more worth it than shaving. It last about 2 days to a week for me
depends on the area. Please note that waxing do cause ingrown hair as well and the hair doesn't become fine at all
for me. After threading, the area you 'thread' will be super
RED. Waxing, be careful of the hot wax, I was burnt by it before.
IPL
Intense Pulsed Light. It is like the most common and safest technology used for hair removal and whitening skin. The best part is this method promise to remove the hair
FOREVER* subjected to individual and minimise pores!
Today, we will focus on IPL.There is so many shop offering this service and here are my personal reviews on shops I have been to.
* Some shop actually highlight to me that if you experience hormones change (like pregnant), your hair might grow back.

What part/s I zapped?
Brazilian (Down South/Vagina)
How I know them:
Bought a voucher to try out their Brazilian Waxing and many others shops to try but theirs leave an impression hard to forget. They actually have a shower room for us to wash up the bottom before starting the treatment and kimonos to change into. Not only that they have the cleanest bed.
Really bonus point! So about 1 or 2 year ago, I decided to convert my Brazilian Waxing package and to Snowflake Brazilian.
Don't you love how they named the treatment? It is so Frozen-inspired.
Review:
When I first tried Snowflake Brazilian, it was somewhat magical as the treatment name suggested. Hair really become finer as I go for more treatment and now I am on maintenance package with a few patch of hair left. But to be honest, I think is a very expensive treatment just for vagina only, hope they will include the
butt hole 'O' line.
I mean when you do Brazilian waxing, they include the 'O' line, why can't they do the same for IPL? And yes, even though it is an expensive treatment, I still go back to this place for my Brazilian because they are super hygienic. After we washed up in the shower, they will still cleanse for us again.
Double cleanse! As for therapists, I can't recommend any because there is no fixed one for me
to discuss my hair with me.
Booking?
It is easier to book with them as compared to the other 2 stores I have been to. Last min booking is possible, but hard to get sometimes.

How we know them:
Always wanted to try, but it was $138 for lifetime treatment. And when they have the $99 offer, I signed on!

Review:
Each session last about 20mins including waiting time and the time needed to make next appointment. So technically, the treatment
for me is around 10mins.
Please note that the time used varies because my friend's treatment took about 20mins. So does the 10mins treatment works? Yes, it reduce the hair and now only about left 1 to 2 strands each armpit.
Don't know why but finally I am close to armpit hairless! Also, when I signed the package, the staff inform me that it will also help to whiten the armpits, but it doesn't happen on me

Booking?
Last min booking? No chances at all unless
you are really lucky someone cancel their appointment. They are jam-packed! I don't recommend you to cancel your appointment with them unless you really can't make it.
*Update on 25 August: Cancelled my appointment for 23 August and the next available slot is end of November (Weekend). O.o

How we know them:
How can I not know them? They are like Musee which have tons of advertisement and bloggers spreading their name around. Attracted to the $99/month offer, but actually they have a lot of plus plus plus.
Just be prepared.
Review:
Each treatment took about 60mins to 90mins max. So far after ard 5-6 treatment/sessions, my hair are ultra fine. Even when it grows out, I will continue to wear shorts and can't be bothered to shave it.
Because it is so so fine, I doubt anyone will notice it.
By the way, they might charge you shaving fee even if you shaved.
Why? Because you didn't shave clean*. I not sure how they define clean but once the staff shave for you, a fee will be charged accordingly.
And if you feel that your shaved hair is good enough for the treatment, you can request the staff not to shave for you.

Booking?
Similar to Musee. Super difficult to get a slot with them, same advice as the one I give for Musee. Don't cancel your appointment with them unless you really can't make it.
About them:
In Conclusion
To be honest, individual results will varies. Some might work for you and some don't. As for me, I really like the results I get from all the shops I mentioned above. They are pushing me away from becoming Cousin IT in Addams

Just hope that for Musee and Datsumo Labo will improve their customer services and for Revive Wellness, not to be so pushy with their package.
