Just kiss me slow, your heart is all I own...

Title is taken from the lyrics of Ed Sheeran's Perfect ↑ . When I heard this song, I feel so inspired to write a post about my ideal wedding and finally updated this space like I promised in the previous post.

1) Pre-wedding photoshoot.
I want 35mm film photography or Instax wide/square. When I told X my ideal kind of pre-wedding photoshoot, this is our conversation.
X: O.O Can't photoshop the photos leh.
Nana: That is the whole purpose.
Yes... Why should I show my guests the photoshopped version of us when they know and already see us in real life. Now everything is too flawless or perfect, I really like this kind of analogue photography and I miss the real touch.

2) Wedding Dress & Bouquet.
Let's talk about wedding dress first.
I saw this dress when I was watching Bride of the Water God and I am so in love with it. It looks so simple and pure... okay... too pure.. That's why I wish that the end of the dress will have a mixture of ombre blue like the picture on the right.

As for the bouquet, I want a bouquet filled with nuggets, drumsticks, satays, bacons or just any fruits.
... ...
Hahahaa... I hope la... But it is a little too hard as I would keep snacking on them and I am worried the food will stain the dress.

↑ This is my actual idea of bouquet using hydrangeas with baby breath because my nose is sensitive to roses and lilies.

3) Venue & Food Served.
I have said it at least a hundred times. I want to hold my wedding in a venue that they can either sit or stand anywhere in the venue and mingle around. Or simply just enjoy themselves.

Venue: McDonald's (My No.1 Choice)
Food: McDonald's Menu/Happy Menu
Why? To enjoy the nuggets and McWings that I love. :X Each guest can order anything or a maximum of 2 items off the McDonald's menu and indulge in it.
P.S: I have told many this idea of mine. Some told me they will bring other fastfood joint food to my wedding if I hold my wedding in McDonald's. 😝

Venue: The Chapel @ Imaginarium
Food: Buffet style
I saw it in an article and all I can say is the venue looks so pretty. Too pretty. So so pretty.

Venue: The Weave by Studio Three Sixteen
Food: Buffet style
I saw a photo of it looking like an office spaces and suddenly, I just feel like holding my wedding there. My guests will be sitting around like they are in office without the divider.

Venue: The Loft Primax
Food: Buffet style
I don't know do they allow wedding here. But, seriously they have arcade machine, Xbox, poker table and swimming pool all in the same places! It is like chalet with all the facilities~ The only downside is they only allow 150pax.

Venue: The Lorong 24A Shophouse Series
Food: Buffet style
I like the shophouse feel.

Venue: The Arts House
Food: Buffet style
It just feel like an usual place to hold wedding.

Venue: Alter Ego - Esplanade
Food: Haven't think of it yet
I... don't know why. It just don't look like a place for wedding.

Venue: OTC Cafe
Food: Cafe food?
Again, I don't know do they allow wedding here but it is located at National Library building. Super convenient!

Wedding is not just an union of two individuals, but the union of two families. Even though I have many ideas for my our ideal wedding, I am not sure whether my family or even X's family will be able to accept it.

And to X if you ever read this post: Don't worry... I am already yours when you asked me to be your girlfriend 8 years ago when we were ordering western food in Koufu. Like what I told you before, I don't believe in forever. But for you, I am willing to believe in till death do us part.

Photos.

Hello! It has been a long while since I update this space of mine.

Maybe because I am approaching the big 3, my friends around me are all getting married. I notice that all their pre-wedding photo are photoshopped to the extent that I don't recognise them. And some of their package are expensive... really expensive.

That day, I told X that I want my wedding photo to be taken with 35mm film or instax film. I mean I want everyone to see the real us, the 'us' you see at work or when we hangout.

Maybe in the future, I will just write a post about my ideal type of wedding.

Thankful.

Yesterday I reformatted my phone to run away from this ↓ message,
but the message is still there.. T.T Anyone know how to solve this problem? The customer service ask me to delete all the apps and just use normal functions like calling and message.  What for I buy a smartphone, if I can't use the apps I am using now?!

Anyway, back to the random story I want to tell you all...

The funniest thing is I forget to backup some stuff when I reformatted my phone, so I tried to retrieve them from my Samsung and Google account. And there are many photos that was taken last year but I have long forgotten about them. Suddenly memories begin to flow in especially when I see those photos I took when I had the major breakout which took many months to cure. I always said I wanted to post photos about the breakout and finally, here are the photos ↓.

All this photos are taken after I received treatment from both doctors and facial parlor. Look at the bottom left photo, I trying to take how POP-UP the pimples are. HAHAHA.

Now... my face is better. But the worries are still there. I don't know when I will have the sudden breakout again, so now I went to facial every once a month. When I was having acne problem, I went to see doctor every 2 weeks and facial parlor every other 2 weeks. Can you imagine the damage?! In case you are wondering who is my doctor and which facial parlor I went to, feel free to email me or dm me on instagram :)

Good day, Mate!

Hello all, reporting live from Melbourne!
I don't should I start with the good experience I had in Australia or the bad one. Hmmm..

Maybe I will have a detailed post soon, but my overall experience is that being Asian is not as good as you think it is when you are visiting there. Don't get me wrong. I really love the foods and things there, just that there are some black sheeps that make the bad experience a little more... memorable...

Detailed post about places we visited soon... after I finish typing the 5 drafts in my blog :)

BANGKOK! - STAY

Sawadee ka! Sa-baai-dee-mai ka?

Visited Bangkok with my friend,P in April and to be honest, I want to visit there again within this year before they remove all the street foods store from the street. The last time I went to Bangkok was 2015 with X and that time I fall in love so madly with the street food. Every turn I made, I can buy a lot of foods and snack along the way. But this trip, I was really surprised. There are still some stores along the streets but not as much as two years ago. Most of the street food are like organized now. They are mostly in front of the mall like those food fair in Singapore.

Anyway, back to the trip. I won't be sharing our itinerary because we just go wherever we feel like and most of the night, we spent at the food fair in front of CentralWorld! My love for Moo Ping (grilled pork on skewers) will never changeeeee~

Where we stay?

..... no. we didn't stay in castle..

We stayed in 2 hotels because one is nearer to the shopping area and other is nearer to the BTS not the korean group, it is their metro/subway/MRT. Also, I have a confession to make......

...I forget to take room photo... :X

So I will just talk more of their hotel locations and our feedback of the hotels

1) Budacco Hotel

This hotel is the one nearer to shopping area. It is deep inside the alley ↓, but located just next to the Pratunam Market. It is only a stone's throw from Platinum Fashion Mall and the night market called Talad Neon and with the new bridge linking Platinum Fashion Mall and almost all the mall around Siam, it is really convenient. This hotel is highly recommended for shopaholics.

image cr.: google map

But if you intend to explore around using public transport, you need to walk about 20mins? to the nearest BTS that is provided you don't stop and see see look look. And for those using Grab, most of the driver don't know this hotel. You can wait at the hotel lobby and let the staff direct them to you or go to Baiyoko hotel and let them fetch you from there.

Now, let's talk about more about the room. Both of us feel this hotel room is very clean and quite big. I remember that we open both of our luggage, we still have spaces to walk around. Oh ya.. for this hotel, we booked the room with the breakfast option. Their breakfast variety is not wide but I still get my favourite sunny-side up eggs!

2) ibis Bangkok Siam

This is my 2nd time staying here! I really like the location of this hotel. Just next to the National Stadium BTS and walking distance to all the malls around Siam. They have a 7-11 just inside the hotel, in the hotel lobby! I can just wear my pjs down and buy snacks~ And for those who need money changer, there is no need to wait for those at Siam shopping centre to open their stores normally open at 11am, because there is one just next to the hotel in Lub D Bangkok Siam. It is also just opposite to MBK, the food and shopping paradise for many!

Please note that the BTS exit is straight in front of the hotel. But to go to the bridge linking to other Siam malls, you must walk to the staircase in front of Bangkok Art & Culture Centre.

The room and toilet are slightly smaller than the first hotel we went. We really recommended this for explorers who want a hotel near the BTS and really affordable!

Conclusion
I will definitely stay in either of this two hotels for my next trip to the land of thousand smiles! But if you want me to choose which one I will highly recommend, it really depends on you.
Do you want to be the explorer or the shopper?

Also, remember to bring your own toothbrush because it seems like most of the hotels are not providing it. :)

Last but not least, I hope you enjoy my post about where we stayed. If you have any other hotels or Airbnb that you highly recommended, do email or dm me!

Updates!

It has been a while since I updated.

I will definitely be blogging about my recent trip to the Land of Thousand Smiles,Bangkok. Hmm... We didn't really explore a lot of cafes or places like the other bloggers or Instagram post I saw online when researching. So I will blog more about the experience we had in the places that we visited.. However, my biggest regret is I didn't get to try Pablo Cheesetart even though we try to search the mall for it... for 1 whole hour.

Now that X have finished his exam. We will be exploring and eating out a little more than usual. So, do expect a few food post coming up soon!

See you around!

Random.

It has been so long since I blogged! Been quite busy with the freelance business that my friends and I started! 😱

Think I will just blog about something I saw today after my yoga class...
So I saw this guy running across the road in sportswear, running and sweating!
I thought he must have been exercising for quite a while until I saw what shoes he is wearing..
He is wearing slippers... Slippers!
Hmmmmm... then I notice where he is stopping..
He stopped in front of those dirty ice-cream store...

Lesson learnt: Don't make assumptions!
